Load a file into HashZilla and you’ll be able to use Alex Romanenko’s free tool to calculate checksums and hashes. And more to the point, you’ll be able to calculate CRC32 and ADLER32 checksums for the file you loaded. On top of that, you’ll also be able to calculate MD5, SHA1, SHA224, SHA256, SHA384, and SHA512 hashes for the file you loaded.

HashZilla provides support for any Windows edition from Windows XP onward, and that includes Windows 10. You’ll be glad to know that HashZilla does not have to be installed. To get started with this application you must download a self-extracting package, extract its contents, and run the HashZilla executable.

All available hash and checksum calculations are listed at the top on HashZilla’s interface. By default, only MD5 is checked. So if you want to calculate the ADLER32 checksum, make sure to check the box next to this option. If you want to check all the hashes and checksums, then go ahead and check all the boxes.

Using HashZilla is an incredibly straightforward matter. First up, you must use the Open File function to find and load a file. After that you must tell HashZilla to calculate certain or all hashes and checksums. And last but not least, you must click on Calculate; HashZilla will calculate the hashes and checksums you selected and will display them on its interface.

HashZilla is free software. You can use it for free, for as long as you want.

There’s much to like about HashZilla: it’s portable, it’s incredibly easy to use, it can calculate multiple checksums and hashes, it is free.
